CONNOR's Corner - with Glenn Wheeler on 2GB
Most Saturday night's Glenn has Connor on the show around 8pm - 2GB - 873 AM. If you can't pick up the station on your radio you can listen live from your computer. Connor will talk to Glenn about topics from the news, sport, school, music, movies and more................... so tune in and have a listen. Connor and Glenn met at the ARIA's this yearand they just clicked ! Connor had a great chat to Glenn at the end and they were getting on so well and of course Connor had more to tell him...................................... so Glenn said why don't you come to the studio for a chat...... Connor didn't have to even think about it he said YES that would be great. Connor had been given 2 tickets to the Music Industries yearly event so he could see his idol perform live - Robbie Williams - and he got to see him and was so excited wanted to jump on stage !!! He didn't !! Connor will be talking about various things with Glenn like sport, movies, what's happening in the news and most of all what Connor has been up to. The last couple of weeks he has been talking about Christmas and his Christmas CD that he is selling with great Australian artists singing some old favourites. You can buy it in our online shop we have discounted it now that Christmas has passed. --------------------------------- Connor's dream is to raise enough money for a purpose built house. The online shop, t-shirts, Rock with Connor concerts and CD's are how we are trying to raise the money. Connor has already raised over $32,000 for the Children's Hospital at Westmead. Always making sure it goes to area's where other chronically ill children are cared for in the hospital. He has one very special doctor ' Dr Albert Shun ' who is an amazing surgeon - specialising in liver and kidney transplants. Connor chooses to donate to his research program as Dr Shun has done many operations on Connor, some have saved his life.
